Hi I just came from Beijing where the 2008 Olympics will be.
I found out that the last summer Olympics took place in Athens, Greece in 2004. Did you know that Athens held the first ever Olympics?
The year was 1896!
In the last Olympic game 11,099 athletes competed! There were 301 medal events and 28 sports from archery to wrestling! Guess what, they also had wheelchair racing! That's what I call extreme!
